A week ago Steve Jobs held a press conference to address iPhone 4 reception problem and he is kind enough to offer iPhone bumper case free of charge for iPhone purchase made within September 30th 2010. What if you want to get one after September 30th and hunting for a cheaper solution ? Or you just want something else rather than everything-Apple?

Frustration after another with Maxis, now I am fully loaded and ready to throw my humble yet evil facts about Maxis out of my head. You know that I was not a Maxis hater and a Digi lover if you have read my previous frustration because I do subcribed to Maxis, and that makes me become one of thier haters. You may think Fraud is not a suitable word to describe Maxis’s service, yes it is definitely not a suitable word because I am being friendly enough with Maxis to use only Fraud instead of Scam. So how does Maxis scam me?

I used to do the #some number* trick on my Nokia 8310 to decrease the quality of voice call to save power and Nokia 5320 XpressMusic to reveal the IMEI code for Ngage cracking. I believe everyone on Foursquare loves to be the mayor of some locations especially places where we usually hang out and location where we live. Why? Because it just looks damn cool and awesome to get ourselves territories! The annoying part is how to get ourselves to replace that *&%$^ annoying crowned mayor.
How to become a mayor?
In order to to become a mayor, you have to be the most check-in person in a particular location for a period of 60 days, you can check in more than once per day on a single location but it is only counted as once. Trying to fool Foursquare when you are checking-in a location which you are not nearby sometime works but with the same thing, only recorded once.
The point system
The number of check-ins in this case is actually the points that going to get you the mayorship you desired, it is like how we measure the winner of a match between Team A and Team B within a period of time. In this scenario for example, you are Team A and the annoying current mayor is Team B and you the challenger have to beat him/her within a period of 60 days.
Something is missing
What is the score? The score (number of check-ins) between you and your opponent (the current mayor) is the key of this mayorship race and nope you cant get this information from Foursquare itself, but here …
When Will I Be Mayor makes it possible, once login you will see a list of your checked-in locations with the number of check-ins of the mayor and yours! With the score on hand it is much more easier to make strategies than just checking-in blindly everyday. I would rather give up pursuing a location if the gap between my number of check-ins are far left behind : ( , proceed hunting another location sounds much more wiser. At last but not least it comes with a pretty handy Monitor Spot function which send you updates of the location you choose to observe too.

You can now make your own ringtone using your iPhone or iPod Touch by using a Cydia free app called Ringtones3 by sckrew, you can make ringtones from your songs library in your device by using this app.
First of all not to be mentioned, you need to have a Jailbroken iPhone or iPod with Cydia installed.
How?
- Search for Ringtones3 in Cydia and install it.
- Once installed you will see an app called Ringtones on your Springboard, execute the app.
- Tap on Start Converting and you shall see a list of songs in your device, select the song you like to make it as ringtone.
- You will see 2 conversion options,
- Quick Conversion – It converts the selected song from the beginning to the 30-th seconds, 0 sec – 30secs , but we want the chorus!
- Advanced Conversion – Select the start point and end point of selected song to make it as ringtone, this sounds better.
- Choose your desired conversion mode
- Quick Conversion – It is automated, nothing much.
- Advance Conversion
- Start Point
- Slide on the round button to choose your desired start point of the ringtone, it is not that responsive.
- Or you can tap on the area (with start, preview and a round arrow button) above the the slider to key in the second you want to make it as start point.
- If the Preview mode is on, it plays the ringtone from the start point for 5 seconds.
- There is a milliseconds roll just below the slider to slightly adjust the start point, rolling up will bring the start point to much more earlier and vice versa.
- If you are happy with the start point of your going-to-be ringtone, tap on Next on the right top corner for the End Point.
- End Point
- Pretty much the same with Start Point, choose your desired end point by the way mentioned in Start Point.
- But this time the preview plays the ringtone starting from 3 seconds before the selected end point.
- Happy with it? tap on Next on the top right corner to start converting.
- Conversion
- In the last stage, it will plays the ringtone from the selected start and end point if the preview mode is on.
- You can also have Fade In / Fade Out effect on your ringtone on the start Point / end Point.
- If you are satisfied tap on Build Preview, and this is what your ringtone will sounds like. Tap on Sounds good, Convert it! if you are ready to go.
- You can find your ringtone under iPhone Settings->Sounds->Ringtone.
Problem?
- Quality of the ringtone might not be as good as the song.
- Your ringtone start / end point is not the point you have chosen?
- In stage 8. Conversion above, the melody you heard after pressing Build Preview is the exact ringtone you are getting.
- If it does not start / end the way you want, go Back refine your start / end point.
- Example, if the preview on Build Preview page starts later than your desired start point, go Back to your Start Point page to make the start point earlier.
- It may not sounds right on the page itself but it does on Build Preview page.

Google WebM project has launched a stage play at Youtube on 19/05/2010 with the cast combination of HTML5 and VP8 video codec to potentially replace the ordinary Flash player and H.264 codec. VP8 codec developed by On2 Technologies is an open source video codec that claims to provide higher quality video with 50% less bandwidth but reviewers doubt the success of it. With only in beta stage, it might be still early to make a conclusion.
In order to play Youtube HTML5 video a browser has to be WebM video format compatible which has the support for HTML5 <video> tag. At the moment Chrome(v5.0.375.17) does not need a plugin but it does for Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer 6,7,8 (with Google Chrome Frame) maybe 9 too, soon.

Rumor has it although it is only 99% true as claimed by VG247 but I guess it doesn’t hurt to have a look on the forecast specs of Sony PSP 2. Believes to be released early of 2011 and let’s see what Sony has potentially loaded for us in their PSP 2.
- PSP 2 has two cameras, one in front another at the back.
- Touch screen but Sony trademark Playstation buttons remain.
- Maybe 3G-enabled instead of only Wi-fi, that’s something cool!
- No physical media, just like PSP Go.
- STUNNING Four-Core cell CPU, and this is what I am talking about!
Happy rumoring.

Rationalizing the purchase of an iPad usually includes a few of these:
- I’ll carry it around most of the time.
- I’ll be able to replace my laptop with it.
- I’ll be able to replace my Kindle with it.
- I’ll bring it on trips instead of my laptop.
- I’ll respond to email with it.
- I’ll get work done with it.
- I’ll take notes with it.
After a month of heavy use, I don’t think it’s good for any of those. A more accurate list might be:
